WHAT IS KHANDU?
Khandu is a kid-centered card game conceived as a step-by-step method based on the process of Design Thinking. Khandu´s goal is to help kids solve anything creatively, by giving them fun challenges and tools to solve them.
More than a game, Khandu is a new tool that helps to reduce the methodological gap in education, a method especially designed to develop creativity, divergent thinking, and problem-solving skills in children ages 6 to 12 years.
WHY HAVE WE CREATED KHANDU?
We are failing to teach our kids the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in today’s world and a paradigm shift is needed in education. We want to use design thinking to engage students in learning and help kids to think differently.
We aim to create a new concept in education and learning. Activating creative thinking, innovation and the application of new ideas in children´s learning by providing the opportunity to build, create, design and play.

We have launched Khandu on Kickstarter to show the world what we have created. Join our mission and help us to create new minds, prepare younger generations for the future and get a Khandu into the hands of every child.

We would love our children to grow up in a world with tools like this, and hopefully yours too!

KHANDU IS ENDORSED BY SCHOLAS OCCURRENTES
For over a year we have been working with Scholas Occurrentes, the educational entity launched by Pope Francis. This collaboration has allowed us to be close to children all over the world and connect to their most important issues. When we started working on Khandu, we spoke with the Scholas management team and pedagogical staff to design a suitable and recommended product for children worldwide.
Today, we have received the Scholas quality seal and we are creating a special kit of Khandu that includes 15 challenges based on the core values of the organization. (Social integration, culture of encounter, environment, technology, arts and sports).
WE HAVE SOME MANY IDEAS…
Khandu first edition is just the beginning. We work daily to develop digital products and this will be our next step. We want to deeply understand how kids interact with Khandu, in order to create a digital version of the product, based on real experiences. So, we invite you to become co-creators and help us to create an amazing Khandu digital application.
We have a lot of new ideas in our heads: thanks to the design of specific challenges based on the development of the different capacities of children, Khandu possibilities are endless. Our team will design new challenges, and training programs to let teachers and parents create their own. We are thinking about challenges with specific topics, robotic kits to create awesome prototypes or give life to Khandus using Minecraft.
